There are many reasons Kathy Rudolph Petrino loves to write about her frequent travels, but the most compelling reason has to be her generosity. Like many avid travelers, Kathy wants to visit as many places as possible during her lifetime. What makes her different than most is that she also has a passion for sharing her travel experiences, as a way to help others to have as great a time as she has. Kathy Rudolph Petrino writes about every aspect of every voyage, including all details about all of her favorite destinations.

Of course, one of Kathy Rudolph Petrino’s favorite destinations is New Orleans, Louisiana. That’s because “The Big Easy,” as it’s come to be known, has something for everyone. A while back, the city suffered a serious setback following Hurricane Katrina, but that only serves to add to the city’s charm. Despite its setbacks, there is a whole lot of life to New Orleans, and it’s the kind of life that sets it apart from most other big cities. The first thing most people notice in New Orleans is the variety of appealing scents coming from the constant cooking. The city is known for its French-inspired Creole and Cajun food and everyone will find something to eat. At the same time, there is the music, which seems to carry through the New Orleans air. The city’s motto is “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” (“Let the good times roll!”), and it’s hard to miss what they mean. There is nothing like New Orleans anywhere in the world.

With Kathy Rudolph Petrino working in her role as a travel blogger, a great many readers get tons of insight on the places she visits, which means they are more likely to have a great trip when they follow her to her favorite travel destinations. That is, after all, why Kathy likes to travel and why she writes about them. Her goal is to make sure everyone has a great time and avoids some of the difficulties she experiences on some trips. It is Kathy Rudolph Petrino’s strong sense of adventure that makes her want to see everything. She writes about it all to encourage others to share in the fun and enjoy the same places she loves. Take, for example, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas ranks as one of Kathy Rudolph Petrino’s favorite places to travel. It isn’t because “everything in Vegas stays in Vegas,” but because it is just a whole lot of fun. What she loves about it is that there is something for everyone in the family to see and do, even if they don’t like to gamble, although the casinos would rather you did, and there are few places in the world more accommodating than Las Vegas. What makes Las Vegas especially appealing as a destination is that it is among the least expensive travel destinations anywhere.

That said, the amount of inexpensive and outright free entertainment available in Las Vegas is impressive, beginning with the free circus acts on display at Circus Circus. You also can see the Eiffel Tower at one hotel and the canals of Venus at another. There are also death-defying amusement park rides that seem to stop in mid-air around the Stratosphere tower, there is a miniature version of the Manhattan skyline with a roller coaster running through it, and a large castle appears next door to a giant pyramid. What Kathy Rudolph Petrino wants you to know is, if you think this stuff looks cool from the sidewalk, there are several helicopter tours of the city available, so you can see it all from the sky, to make it seem even more impressive.
